Struggling at work: ‘By sharing our daily work struggles, they become solvable’
Struggling at work – Share how your workday went
Struggling at work? We recently had a Dutch scrum master install our device to measure employee morale.
Here’s Rutger ter Braak’s reflection upon seeing the first results of the green and red feedback:
We’ve previously written about how our users make sure their transition to an agile work culture is successful – for real.
They strongly feel it’s necessary to transform the whole company.
These leaders take a step back and see how the culture in their organization deals with leadership, teamwork, change processes, mistakes (The person who never made a mistake never made anything!)… and start implementing small changes, in all areas.
Not just in the tech team.
Scrum master roles and responsibilities: Ambassador of change
Among a scrum master’s roles and responsabilities is the goal to keep coworkers efficient and on the same page.
They are the ambassadors of change!
So how can you make change happen quicker, and in a transparent way?
Here’s Rutger ter Braak’s take on how he’s trying to create positive change in his organization:
How to be a good scrum master – Team Happiness
“As Lead developer and Scrum master of the H2gO development team I am always looking for improvement and happiness in our team.
Once I saw the Celpax I started thinking bigger than just team happiness.
With the Celpax I am trying to achieve a more open discussion about everybody’s feelings. We all know not everything is perfect and what the daily struggles are, but we do not share them.
By sharing our struggles they become touchable and solvable.”
At Celpax we love it when leaders work on their own people skills.
It starts a nice circle of personal growth, trust and employee wellbeing.
Experimenting is cheap if you do it yourself! You just measure, talk, improve and repeat.
Struggling at work? Share how you feel about your workdays!
Our data show that companies where they regularly talk about the engagement in the workplace, are those who improve their staff morale the fastest.
